Self-Excitation Mechanisms in Leftist Echo Chamber

A new article The Leftist Echo Chamber in the Digital Age is published on this site.  It is about the social dynamics inside of the liberal public sphere that have let it slide so low and so far to the left.

It is hard to dispute that today’s political polarization is unprecedented since the Civil War. I think it has been caused by three tightly linked developments: a) the radical Left takeover of the liberal establishment and Democratic party; b) the radicalized lib/Dem establishment takeover of the media, academia, government, nonprofit sector, and most academic institutions; and c) foreign interference aiding and egging on the lib/Dem establishment.  Continue reading >

Governors of States “fight climate change” – Rebel Alliance, Treason, or What?

This development is described completely differently in the different media:

The rebel alliance begins: Governors of New York, California, Washington form a coalition to fight climate change – according to FastCompany.

THE TREASONOUS SECESSION OF CLIMATE CONFEDERACY STATES . Prosecute Governor Brown for treason – according to FrontPageMag.

I find myself in the middle between these extremes. It is just another act of sedition by demonrats.

Obama Got $65 Million from Foreign Publishers

Barack and Michelle Obama have inked a $65 million deal for their memoirs (two books) with publisher, Penguin Random House. This publishing house is jointly owned by Bertelsmann Foundation (Germany) and Pearson PLC (UK).  Bertelsmann Foundation, owning 53% in the joint venture, is not a commercial enterprise, but a politically engaged entity. Democratic Attorneys General and Other Party Operatives

This is an admission from NY Times on February 6: Democratic Party operatives and democratic attorney generals and governors do not know the differences between their roles.  Per admission, democratic attorney generals and governors are Democratic Party operatives appointed to the positions where they benefit other Democratic Party operatives and Democratic Party donors:

“In interviews, more than a dozen Democratic attorneys general, governors and party operatives detailed a week of frenzied litigation, late-night and early-morning phone calls and text messages, and strategies devised on airplanes and at sporting events.  All told, Democrats say, the legal onslaught against Mr. Trump was a crystallizing moment for the party’s attorneys general — and a model for how to stall or unwind the administration policies they find most offensive.”

“Mr. Schneiderman, a former state senator from Manhattan who is in his second term as attorney general, called the travel ban a ‘first test’ of the Democratic legal apparatus under Mr. Trump.”  Continue reading Democratic Attorneys General and Other Party Operatives

When newsmakers talk of “GOP’s delusions”

The long-observed phenomenon of newsmaking – where the media is creating events instead of reporting them – has long been in existence.

In a recent example, a team of Democrat staffers and journalists launched a national campaign against elected Republican Congress attempting to hit them where it hurts – in their states and electoral districts.  The gist of the campaign is to appear as members of a grassroots movement of dissatisfied citizens, rather than a Democrat-organized attack. Examples from the campaign guide (bold font is original; red highlighting is mine): Continue reading When newsmakers talk of “GOP’s delusions”

Obama’s FTC Charged an Academic Publisher with Crime

The FTC’s complaint alleges that OMICS Group, Inc., along with two affiliated companies and their president and director, Srinubabu Gedela, claim that their journals follow rigorous peer-review practices and have editorial boards made up of prominent academics. In reality, many articles are published with little to no peer review and numerous individuals represented to be editors have not agreed to be affiliated with the journals.” – from its press release on August 26, 2016.

These alleged crimes of OMICS Group sound very much like actions of IPCC and the Cambridge University Press, publishing IPCC reports.  What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, isn’t it?

Senator Shouldbe’n Jailhouse gets another Fishy Income

The wife of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, notorious for his calls to lynch climate skeptics, Sandra Whitehouse, PhD, got a new job as the Chief Scientific Officer of AltaSea (Los Angeles, CA), according to this press release.  She will “work” on a consulting basis.  Apparently, Sandra Whitehouse can hold a number of such “consulting jobs” in the same time. One of them is a Senior Advisor to Ocean Conservancy (Washington, DC).  According to Ocean Conservancy’s 990 form for a year ending in June 2015, she received $235,000 for something called “Marine Spatial Planning“.  In five years ending in June 2015 she received $980,800 just from Ocean Conservancy. CAG, CAN, MediaMatters, UCS

01/24/2017: Correction to the CAG at War with the USA essay:  the first batch of the incriminating CRU emails was released in 2009.  Climategate 2.0 was the release of the second batch in 2011.  The enemies of America became emboldened after Obama re-election in 2012.  The Climate Alarmism Governance started its undeclared war at some time in 2010-2013. End of Correction.

An example of the centralized propagation of the Climate Alarmism Governance (CAG) resolutions is an article, published on MediaMatters, December 31, 2015: Continue reading CAG, CAN, MediaMatters, UCS

Democrats “Discover” Foreign Interference in the US elections

Democrats and their allies have started blaming their election loss on alleged “Russian hacking,” and bitching about foreign interference in the US elections.  How hypocritical!

The Internet has opened American political processes for foreign interference.  Most of the foreign interference benefited extreme Left .  Starting with the Internet based organizations, such as MoveOn.org, foreign influence contributed to transformation of the old Democratic Party into its current radical shape.  The 2016 elections has been marked by the heaviest foreign meddling in the US history.  Almost all of it was in favor of the Democratic candidates.  Some of the most significant meddlers were:

  • The UN organization and its many branches
  • The Guardian, a media outlet of the British Left, partially financed by the British government

  • Greenpeace, WWF, FOE, and the rest of the European green establishment

  • The Climate Action Network with its 1,000+ foreign member organizations

  • The Quantum Group of Hedge Funds

The Democratic Party has embraced Climate Alarmism, Continue reading Democrats “Discover” Foreign Interference in the US elections

DCracy

Washington, DC is owned by the Democratic Party, regardless of who is the President and what party has majority in Congress.  More than 90% of Washington population votes for Democrats.  Despite votes leak to the libertarian candidate, the nation has elected Trump.  In the same time, the ratio of Hillary to Trump voters in Washington, DC has been more than 16:1.  If Trump wants to make a real change, he needs to move most government operations from DC to the United States, and to hire new people with technical and managerial experience in the business sector. National Scientific Foundation (NSF), National Academy of Science (NAS), and NASA are the first candidates for drastic change that come to mind.  EPA should be abolished, and its few useful functions might be spread among other departments. Election Results Surprise Totalitarian Demonrats

Up until election day, almost all polls and analytical forecasts predicted that Hillary, a candidate from the incumbent Democratic Party, would win.  Instead, Trump won by a large margin.  Republicans won both House and Senate.

This pattern is frequently observed when a ruling party persecutes opposition.  Fearing repression, supporters of the opposition disproportionately avoid polling or claim to support the ruling party.  They express their opinion only on election day.

Intervention against AGs United for Money & Power

Yesterday I filed a Motion to Intervene in the lawsuit ExxonMobil v AG Healey (case 4:16-CV-469-K).  This fight is not between AG Healey and Exxon .  This fight is between AG Healey and the People.  The Left has been using large corporations as proxies to deny Americans their rights for long time.  The direct attacks failed, but attacks by proxies have been tremendously successful. Obama vs the People, 2016

Is it normal for the President of the United States of America to threaten the People with military force? In his State of the Union speech, Obama said:

Look, if anybody still wants to dispute the science around climate change, have at it. You will be pretty lonely, because you’ll be debating our military … and 200 nations around the world who agree it’s a problem and intend to solve it. (link)

He said this only a few hours after allowing Iran to capture two Navy boats and their crew, to take the Navy sailors prisoners and compel a female captive to wear a hijab, and to force them all to kneel before Iranian National Guardsmen.

I know that before Obama, it was other way around: the armed forces defended America against foreign threats, instead of being pawns to “debate” their own citizens. This “debate offer” is something from the repertoire of African dictators, but even Obama’s fellow dictators do not threaten their subjects so overtly on behalf of foreign powers. And I doubt that many of them use weasel words like “carbon pollution.” Carbon dioxide in the air is not pollution, but plants’ nutrients, and of course carbon constitutes most of the dry mass of a human body.

Will this horror end after the November 2016 elections? Judging by the current trends, I am not so sure there will be elections at all.
