Re: DOJ Admits FBI Never Saw Crowdstrike Report on DNC

DOJ Admits FBI Never Saw Crowdstrike Report on DNC Russian Hacking Claim…

Referring to GOVERNMENT’S RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO COMPEL UNREDACTED CROWDSTRIKE REPORTS (Criminal Case against Roger Stone, https://www.scribd.com/document/413428947/Stone-De-123-DOJ-Response-to-MTC-Crowdstrike-Reports)

“By May 2016, the Democratic National Committee (“DNC”) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (“DCCC”) became aware that their computer systems had been compromised by intrusions, and they hired the cybersecurity company CrowdStrike to identify the extent of the intrusions and mitigate the threat.”

Even according to the DNC/DOJ narrative, only the DNC became aware of intrusion(s). Even after it hired CrowdStrike, it didn’t warn the DCCC. The latter one complained about that later.

“See, Washington Post, D.N.C. Says Russian Hackers Penetrated Its Files, Including Dossier on Donald Trump, June 14, 2016, available at https://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/15/us/politics/russian-hackers-dnc-trump.html.”

The prosecutors (including notorious JESSIE LIU and Aaron Zelinsky) talk about an article in the Washington Post, but provide the link to the article in the NY Times.

The NY Times article is co-signed by David Sanger, who yesterday co-signed another article in the NY Times: U.S. Escalates Online Attacks on Russia’s Power Grid, which betrays an attempt to provoke a war between the US and Russia. President Trump correctly called this article fake news, and compared actions of the NY Times with a treason.

Which version of the NY Times article do they refer to? There are four of them, at least one of which is complete rewriting of the previous one.

“At the time of the voluntary production, counsel for the DNC told the government that the redacted material concerned steps taken to remediate the attack and to harden the DNC and DCCC systems against future attack. According to counsel, no redacted information concerned the attribution of the attack to Russian actors.”

Too much deference to counsel for the DNC.

steps taken to remediate the attack” probably means destruction of the evidence over the weekend of June 11-12.
