President Trump is receiving sub-standard medical care and advice. Dr. Sean Conley, Physician to the President, received his DO (which is only slightly below MD) only 14 years ago. Before being assigned to the White House Medical Unit, he honorably served in the Navy, including overseas deployment(s). With all due respect, his rank is only that of Commander.
He does not have sufficient experience treating men of President Trump’s age. Further, Dr. Conley’s low rank and young age, combined with his military background, make him vulnerable to undue influence from the “medical Deep State” (including but not limited to Dr. Fauci), and fake news / big tech media. The President needs an experienced family physician, who can confidently make independent decisions, based on many years of caring for older patients, and thus could easily disregard recommendations from Anthony Fauci & co., if need be.
It seems that Dr. Conley mistakenly stopped the hydroxychloroquine prophylaxis, which Trump started in May. Did he listen to Nancy Pelosi’s “advice”? It is impossible to avoid SARS-CoV-2 infection while actively working in DC. At the age of 74, the risk of death from this infection is significant. HCQ / HCQ + Zinc prophylaxis decreases the probability of developing COVID-19, reduces its severity if infected , and makes subsequent HCQ+AZ+Zinc treatments more effective. HCQ accumulation is the rate-limiting step in this treatment.
Trump became a test subject for the Regeneron antibody cocktail, and has proven it works. After that, treating him with Remdesivir was a mistake. If there were a doubt about the results, he should have received HCQ with Zinc. Convalescent plasma would have been another option.
The seditious designs of his enemies might have limited Trump’s choice of doctor.. Trump’s other physicians or preferred doctors may have hesitated to join the White House team, due to the ‘seek and destroy’ strategy employed by the Left against anyone associated with President Trump.
