🙂 New evidence of Trump – Putin collusion! Trump and Putin both encouraged the use of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 treatment and prevention, despite the lack of evidence of its efficacy (not counting in-vitro research, clinical success in France, South Korea, China, and some 3-4 randomized controlled trials). Russia and the “Trump country” states report less than 100 COVID-19 deaths per million population. Russia has embraced hydroxychloroquine-based treatment for COVID-19.
But the vigilance of the Deep State, New York Governor Cuomo, NYC Mayor de Blasio exposed this new Trump-Putin collusion. By preventing effective hydroxychloroquine treatments, they raised the death rates in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts above 1,000 deaths per million, higher than any country in the world except for the tiny San Marino.
Special acknowledgement goes to FDA Chief Scientist Denise Hinton, M.Sc. Working with former BARDA Director Rick Bright, Ph.D., Ms. Hinton put severe restrictions on the use of hydroxychloroquine from the National Strategic Supply. This limited the drug’s use to hospital settings, too late to be effective. This served as a blueprint for many state governors. A few days ago, Ms. Hinton rescinded that emergency permit, and signed a memorandum bravely stating that HCQ-based treatment is ineffective and dangerous – contrary to several studies and the clinical experiences and recommendations of thousands of doctors in the US and in many other countries.
On the same day, FDA made another announcement : FDA Warns of Newly Discovered Potential Drug Interaction That May Reduce Effectiveness of a COVID-19 Treatment Authorized for Emergency Use. It says that HCQ might reduce antiviral activity of Remdesivir, an untested drug from Gilead Sciences. The warning is based on a single lab study. This is not a joke.
