We stand with President’s advisor Stephen Miller in the face of the vicious smear. He had been continuously defamed and dehumanized (Terrible News: Stephen Miller Reportedly Has a Human Girlfriend, Vanity Fair) since the January 2017 travel ban.
The latest smear campaign is entirely based on the fake “Hayden dossier”.
Michael E. Hayden the Faker
The author of the SPLC hit piece (dossier) Michael Edison Hayden together with his colleague, Columbia Journalism Review editor Sam Thielman have recently created & posted a screenshot of a fake Trump tweet, supposedly tweeting about their article in CJR. The article was (hold tight!) about spotting fakes.
Donald Trump probably doesn’t even know about M.E. Hayden’s existence. To be sure, I checked @realDonaldTrump tweets, including deleted ones, and didn’t find anything similar to one in the screenshot.
To be precise about their work distribution: Michael E. Hayden was listed as the author under the CJR article and thanked Sam Thielman for contribution. When promoting the article on Twitter, Sam Thielman tweeted the fake screenshot, and Michael E. Hayden retweeted it. Sam Thielman was one of the most active pushers of the Russia hoax.
THE DOSSIER
The Fake Hayden dossier Part I (36 pages, 6000 words), Part II (11 pages, 1700 words), Part III (20 pages, 2600 words). Many people take the dossier author and the Fake News at their word. In fact, the Hayden dossier consists of 67 pages of dense smears, and contains only a handful of quotes from Stephen’s emails, which might have been altered. Even these handful of quotes, cherry picked from 900 emails, show zero evidence to support the idea that Stephen Miller is a white nationalist or supremacist. These quotes don’t even show an “affinity” to white nationalism, or “trafficking” in white supremacist literature. Stephen Miller openly admits that he is a civic nationalist he doesn’t only focus on immigration – it is just one of many topics he discusses. Hayden’s dossier is a blatantly false narrative, promulgated by the “usual suspects”. I reproduce all the quotes from the dossier and two additional pieces, published in on November 19 and 25, in the order they have been placed by the dossier writer. Some of them are sent by McHugh or somebody else, so what Stephen wrote is in bold, below. Square brackets are in the dossier.
The quotes are mostly related to the immigration, but they are cherry picked and possibly altered by M.E. Hayden out of 900 emails provided by Katie McHugh, mostly from his exchanges with her, and are not representative of Stephen’s interests.
Alleged Quotes, Part I (Nov 12)
Referring to the Hurricane Patricia.
McHugh, Oct. 23, 2015, 6:10 p.m. ET: “This being the worst hurricane ever recorded, what are the chances it wreaks destruction on Mexico and drives a mass migration to the U.S. border?”
Miller, Oct. 23, 2015, 6:12 p.m. ET: “100 percent. And they will all get TPS. And all the ones here will get TPS too. That needs to be the weekend’s BIG story. TPS is everything.”
McHugh, Oct. 23, 2015, 6:22 p.m. ET: “Wow. Ok. Is there precedent for this?”
Miller, Oct. 23, 2015, 6:31 p.m. ET: [VDARE link]
Links to an article Never Let a Crisis Go to Waste: Mexico’s Hurricane Patricia And “Temporary Protected Status” by Steve Sailer. There is nothing racist or white supremacist in this article. But the dossier goes on and on about other writings of Mr. Sailer and other posts on VDARE.
McHugh, Sept. 1, 2015, 8:49 p.m. ET: “‘Next America.’ We’re being invaded and talked into tolerating it.”
Miller, Sept. 1, 2015, 9:01 p.m. ET: “It’s treated as organic. No mention of voluntary policy which can be shut off.”

McHugh, Sept. 6, 2015, 3:34 p.m. ET: “[Breitbart editor] Neil [Munro], Julia [Hahn] and I are going to do a series of stories on [nonwhite SAT scores] to break it down. Neil says it’s easier for people to digest that way and change their minds.”
Miller, Sept. 6, 2015, 3:41 p.m. ET: “On the education angle? Makes sense. Also, you see the Pope saying west must, in effect, get rid of borders. Someone should point out the parallels to Camp of the Saints.”
Notice that the phrase ‘nonwhite SAT scores’ has been added to the McHugh’s quote by the dossier author.
The Camp of Saints is a book, described on Amazon as “Originally published in France in 1973 and in English translation in 1975 by the distinguished American publisher Charles Scribner Sons, The Camp of the Saints has been described as the 1984 of the late twentieth century.”
McHugh, July 7, 2015, 3:19 p.m. ET: Wow. We’ll likely never see any stats on interracial crime come from the DOJ ever again, but they have added “Hispanic” as a category rather than classifying them all as “white.” [National Review link]
The links point to an article by Heather Mac Donald. The article shows exactly the opposite to what the dossier author claims: “The racist massacre of nine black worshippers at a Charleston, S.C., church on June 17 was an act of such heinous ugliness that it demands to be scrutinized for any larger meanings it may possess.” It is not clear from the dossier whether the following was an immediate reply to this email or there were interceding ones.
Miller, July 7, 2015, 3:35 p.m. ET: “Let me know when you can talk re: immigrant crime. Have some thoughts.”
McHugh, July 7, 2015, 4:45 p.m. ET: “I can chat now if you’re free.”

Miller, Sept. 1, 2015, 2:38 p.m. ET: “Hey Katie, Hope all is well. Was curious to see if you were still planning a story with the DOJ crime victims’ data.”
McHugh, Sept. 1, 2015, 2:56 p.m. ET: “Hi Stephen, yes, I’d like to. Can we touch base tomorrow morning/early afternoon after I write a couple of assignments?”

McHugh, June 23, 2015, 3:32 p.m. ET: “Yes, definitely. There’s all kinds of hammer and sickle merchandise, Che shirts, Stalin shirts… the list goes on and on.”
Miller, June 23, 2015, 3:36 p.m. ET: “I think that would be a very big story. Reveals just the stunning corporate hypocrisy that defines our modern culture.”
McHugh, June 23, 2015, 3:42 p.m. ET: “Yes, and extra lulz: [Former Obama White House press secretary] Jay Carney, who’s a senior advisor or something for Amazon, displayed Commie propaganda IN HIS HOUSE.” [Daily Caller link]

Miller, June 23, 2015, 5:11 p.m. ET: “I betcha they also sell lots of che gueverra garb too.”
McHugh, June 23, 2015, 5:13 p.m. ET: “Oh they do. It took a long time to write a very short piece because I feel gripped with anger and despair. But if there was ever a time to stay cheerful, this is it!!”

No context is given. Given the genre of the “dossier,” absence of the context means that the context would destroy the fake narrative.
Miller, Oct. 2, 2015, 12:06 a.m. ET: “[Harper-Mercer] is described as ‘mixed race’ and born in England. Any chance of piecing that profile together more, or will it all be covered up?”
Despite the Left’s obsession with the race, this is the only place where the word ‘race’ appears in the Stephen quotes. It might be the only such place in all the 900 emails.

The article doesn’t even say ‘fake bomb’, but ‘a homemade digital clock to school that was mistaken for a bomb by Irving MacArthur High School faculty’.
A personal note: when Cesar Sayoc sent similar devices (a clock and wires connected to nothing; Sayoc’s devices also contained some non-explosive powder) to Soros and few other Democratic rain-maker, the media called them pipe bombs. Cesar Sayoc has been sentenced to 20 years of prison.
Many in the public have at least suspicions that somebody linked to the Democratic party apparatus set up Cesar Sayoc to do what he had done. I don’t know, but if this is the case, the interested parties are cautioned against attempts to get rid of him.
Alleged Quotes, Part II (Nov 12)
Julia Hahn was another writer in Breitbart, later accused of association with white nationalism.
Hahn, April 1, 2015, 9:03 p.m. ET : “Hey! I was just talking to katie [McHugh] abt tmrw nights plans and since I just moved into the city two days ago, I wanted to have an open house. Alleged Quotes, Part III (Nov 14)
Miller, Aug. 12, 2015, 3:13 p.m. ET: “This is a Center for Immigration Studies report, embargoed until 1am Thursday night (i.e. tonight at 1am).”
McHugh, Aug. 12, 2015, 3:16 p.m. ET: “Writing this up for tonight… Will call in a few[.] ”

McHugh, July 8, 2015, 11:19 a.m. ET: “Definitely. At some point it would be great to write a big round up of Somali crimes – after asking local officials the specific benefits their diversity provides us with?”

Miller, July 8, 2015, 3:29 p.m. ET: “Of course. Richwine’s piece is good.”
Jason Richwine, Are Low-Skill Immigrants Upwardly Mobile? is a short article about immigration policies: “If we are serious about improving social mobility in the U.S., then importing millions of low-skill immigrants (of any nationality) with uncertain prospects for advancement cannot be the right policy.”
Miller, July 8, 2015, 4:24 p.m. ET: “Really important that you got the Rubio hit in there[.]”

That’s it. No more quotes. Additional pieces are being added to the dossier. One was published on November 19, after the smear campaign had reached its peak. It contains nothing to change the conclusions about Stephen Miller or the dossier writer and promoters.

Miller, Sept. 5, 2015, 9:52 p.m. ET: “It is shocking to look at the list, as we’ve compiled, of the number of foreign-born terrorists in the United States on voluntarily [sic] visas we handed out.
“The U.S. has been taking in Muslim refugees for decades, without any kind of pause or assimilation effort, creating huge pockets of radicalization. What plays out as chaos in Europe has been a longer-running and far more orderly process in the United States wherein poor Muslim migrants are legally brought here, placed into un-integrated communities, given preferential treatment for jobs, welfare and affirmative action, and plugged into our grievance culture.”
The following emails were exchanged a day after US-born Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik swore allegiance to ISIS and murdered 14 in San Bernardino, California.
McHugh, Dec. 3, 2015, 8:26 a.m. ET: “Watching Trump’s Q&A again and I’m in awe. He’s operating on several different levels. We need a piece on his rhetoric … I have to do it … If he somehow wins this country will become dramatically different and Americans will carry themselves as a new people.”

Electronic Intifada
There is another alleged primary source for the dossier – an email sent by white nationalist Richard Spencer to Prof. Peter Laufer in 2007, allegedly obtained by Electronic Intifada in 2017 and forwarded to the dossier author in August 2019. It allegedly mentions Miller by name. Neither the email nor quotes from it have been published by the dossier author or anybody else. The linked Electronic Intifada article from 2017-02-01 drips with hatred and contains such pearls as “Miller embodies the affinity between white supremacism and support for Israel’s ongoing dispossession of Palestinians.” It doesn’t contain the alleged email either. This email probably doesn’t exist; even if it were, it would prove nothing. Stephen Miller and Richard Spencer studied in the Duke University in the same time and probably knew each other.
The real words of Stephen Miller are buried deep in the Part I of the dossier: “I have absolutely no relationship with Mr. Spencer. I completely repudiate his views, and his claims are 100 percent false.”
The Real Cause
The Left smears Stephen Miller all the time. But this smear campaign might be part of the coup attempts. Stephen Miller gave a few interviews in Sep 29 – Oct 1 period, calling out the so-called “impeachment” a partisan hit job, exposing Bidens’ corrupt deals with China (including what seems to be a real quid pro quo), and naming the Deep State.
